Terms and conditions

Last updated: 12 October 2026

These terms govern access to Wrks: the website at wrks.it and the web application, including the HTTP API if you use an API key. Please read them before creating an account or connecting a calendar.

1. Who provides the service

Wrks is provided by Antonio Molinari, a natural person, with address at Via Caselle 6, 26032 Ostiano (CR), Italy. Contact: [email protected].

In these terms “Wrks”, “I”, and “the service” mean that person. “You” means the person or organisation using the service. If you act for a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

A consumer is a natural person acting for purposes outside a trade or profession. Some clauses below apply only to consumers, or only to other users; that is stated where it matters. Otherwise the clause applies to everyone.

2. What Wrks is

Wrks is a time-tracking application. You record time against projects and tasks in a workspace. If you connect Google, Wrks can read the calendars you turn on, show those events next to your time entries, and create a time entry from an event when you ask. Features can differ between the free plan and a future paid plan, and can change as the product evolves.

Wrks is a time-tracking aid. It does not replace your own judgement, your calendar provider’s interface, or professional advice. Times and calendar events depend on what you and your workspace enter, on the calendars you connect, and on Google’s APIs. They can be incomplete or wrong.

3. Account

You need an account to use the authenticated parts of the service. You may register with email and password or with Google Sign-In. Keep credentials secret. You are responsible for activity under your account unless you show that someone used it without your fault after you told me promptly.

Give accurate details and keep them current. Access may be limited to invitation during early phases of the product. Tell me if you lose access or suspect misuse: [email protected].

You must be at least 16. The service is not offered to children.

4. Free plan and paid plan

Today Wrks is offered as a free plan. A paid plan with extra functions is expected. Until checkout is live, no subscription fee is charged for ordinary use of the current product.

When paid plans exist:

  • prices, duration, and included features will be shown before you pay;
  • billing will be handled by a specialised payment provider; Wrks will not store full card numbers;
  • unless the checkout page says otherwise, a subscription will renew for another period of the same length until you cancel;
  • cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, except where the law or the offer says otherwise;
  • after a paid plan ends you may keep a free account, without the extra functions.

Promotions, if any, apply only as stated when you take them up. Taxes are those shown at checkout.

5. Consumer withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA and you buy a paid plan at a distance, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal. Digital services that start immediately can limit that right if the law allows it and if you were asked to acknowledge the start of performance. The checkout flow will state what applies. This clause does not reduce mandatory consumer rights.

6. Google Calendar and other third parties

Connecting Google is optional, and it is needed for the calendar features. Google’s own terms and privacy policy still apply to your Google account. Wrks receives only what you authorise, with read-only access to Calendar: it does not create, update, or delete events in your Google account. If Google changes or withdraws the APIs, the related Wrks features may shrink or stop.

API keys, if you create them, are part of the same service. If you point a client at Wrks, you are responsible for that client. I do not control how that client stores or displays the answers it receives.

Fonts, scripts, and other resources loaded from other networks are described in the privacy policy. I am not responsible for the content or availability of those external resources.

7. Acceptable use

Use Wrks only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms. In particular you must not:

  • try to break into accounts, APIs, or infrastructure you do not own;
  • overload the service, scrape it in an abusive way, or bypass technical limits;
  • use it to harm others, to send spam, or to process data you have no right to process;
  • treat it as a general archive for highly sensitive categories of data;
  • resell the service or present it as your own product without a written agreement.

Time entries in a workspace can be visible to other members of that workspace, according to the roles configured there. You decide what you write in descriptions and notes.

I may suspend or close an account, or refuse a connection, if these terms are broken, if there is a security risk, if a bill is unpaid (once billing exists), or if a public authority requires it.

8. Your content and a limited licence

You keep whatever rights you already have in the data you bring into Wrks (time entries, notes, project names, and calendar material you choose to copy in). You grant me a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, display, and transmit that data only as needed to run the service, including backups and support. I do not claim ownership of your calendars.

You confirm you are allowed to connect those calendars and to record that time, and that doing so will not violate third-party rights. Event titles and guest lists can contain other people’s data: that remains your responsibility.

9. Intellectual property in Wrks

The software, interface, name, and documentation of Wrks remain mine or those of my licensors (including open-source components). You get a personal, non-transferable right to use the service during your account. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the product beyond what these terms or mandatory law allow.

Feedback you send may be used to improve Wrks without payment, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

10. Availability and changes

I aim to keep Wrks reasonably available. Maintenance, hosting incidents, or changes at Google can cause downtime. The free plan is provided without a service-level commitment. Paid-plan availability, if any is promised, will be stated when that plan is offered.

Features, limits, and these terms can change for technical, legal, or product reasons. The updated text applies from the date on this page. If you do not accept a change, stop using the service and ask for the account to be closed. Continued use after the date of change is acceptance, except where the law gives you another way out.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that Italian or EU law does not allow to be limited.

Subject to that, I am not liable for: misuse of the service; data you put in; errors in Google Calendar or in time entries derived from it; decisions you take without checking the source; outages at Google, the hosting provider, CDNs, or payment providers; or loss that was not reasonably foreseeable.

If you are not a consumer, I am not liable, to the extent the law allows, for indirect loss, lost profit, lost opportunity, or loss of data that you could reasonably have exported. Any remaining liability for non-consumers is limited to the amount you paid for Wrks in the twelve months before the claim, or to fifty euros if you were on the free plan.

If you are a consumer, your mandatory rights stay intact. I do not guarantee that every time entry or calendar event is complete.

12. Closing the account

You may stop using Wrks at any time. You can ask for the account to be deleted by emailing [email protected]. I may close or suspend the account in the cases in section 7, or if the product is discontinued, with notice where practical.

On closure, access ends. Data is handled as described in the privacy policy. Paid periods already invoiced are not refunded except where the law or the offer requires it.

13. Privacy

Personal data is processed as described in the privacy policy and the cookie policy. Those pages are separate documents; they complete the picture but are not hidden extra terms of sale.

14. Law and venue

These terms are governed by Italian law.

If you are a consumer, you may also rely on the mandatory protections and the venue rules of your country of residence.

If you are not a consumer, the Court of Cremona has exclusive jurisdiction over disputes about these terms or the service, unless a mandatory rule says otherwise.

15. Final points

If a clause is invalid, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing a right once is not a waiver. These terms, together with the privacy and cookie pages and the information shown at checkout when you pay, are the whole agreement about Wrks between you and me.
